I like it. It looks good. BUT…

I strongly recommend you change the title order to be more indicative of uniqueness at the BEGINNING of the text, instead of the end. For example, this page would change to “AWSD Update — Blog Archive — Free php and PERL scripts”. The difference, when multiple tabs to a site are open, is HUGE. I have 8 pages open in my browser for this site - but I would be hard presses to guess which one is about anything in particular, since they’re all displayed as “Free p…”.

Fix WordPress, it thinks everything entered is a duplicate content.

Hey Shawn, thanks for advice! It´s still “work in progress” :) Changed the title-tag, that was quite a good idea, thanks. About the Duplicate Content problem.. Yeah - Wordpress sucks with that. Will try to fix.

You know.. I’ve been using your weblog perl script since March 2002 - that was BEFORE BLOGS ever existed. Nice to see you (or someone) has resurrected the site.

Thanks Tom! Darryl is no longer owner of this domain, but i intend to do some updates on the scripts someday (when i have more time). Hopefully this winter, when its cold outside :o)

Is there supposed to be a webcal.pl file in webcal_files.zip? Thanks.

  7. admin Says:

Hello George, yes! But it was renamed to .txt - please download it again, all files should be where they belong:

Why does Webbs bounce posts for no known reason to the moderator? They are not hit by the naughty word list or the IP ban list.

  9. Mike Says:

I have been a user of webcal for 6 or 7 years. The one feature that I always seemed to think that was missing was the abillity to edit an existing calendar entry, so I cobled together a webcal.edit.pl script. I sent a copy of this to the original author Daryl but he never did anything with it. If the admin of this site would like a copy of it I would be happy to send it to them, all they need to do is send me a email.

The WebLog script doesn’t seem to work. It doesn’t have a weblog.pl file in it. Also, what permissions and other server side settings do I need to run it?

  11. admin Says:

Hey Liam, its fixed - you can download it again (you needed to rename it to .pl).

  12. Liam Says:

Is there any way this can be made to run through the browser? I don’t have telnet permissions on the server.
